Dot Net Perls

Back Button Use

by Sam Allen

Problem

You have come to my website and have taken offense at something I have written. How can you deal with this dilemma? The solution must be easy to follow and reliable.

Solution

The most effective solution here is to use your browser's back button. Usually, emailing the author with a nasty comment is not the most efficient approach.

How to use it. The back button on your browser is usually located in the top left. When you are on the offensive page on Dot Net Perls, click the arrow pointing left.

Problem solved. This will remove you from the problematic page and will free you to read something you like better. Let's look at some other useful things to know.

I have something useful to say

That's great and I want to hear about it. Please proceed to email me if this is the case. Positive comments or critical comments are often quite useful and I encourage them.

There's a problem on your site

I would appreciate a note via email. I have caught very serious problems in my articles (bugs) by readers' alerts. However, I cannot debug your specific program.

Summary

Enjoy reading Dot Net Perls. Keep in mind though that I am paying for the bandwidth you use, so it is not appropriate to send negative and non-constructive comments to me.
